Pumpkin Cream Chai Latte
This Starbucks fall-favorite features a classic pumpkin chai topped with a generous dollop of pumpkin cream

Chai Concentrate
- 6 cardamom pods
- 3 cloves
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp black tea
Pumpkin Cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp whole milk
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp pumpkin purée
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Make Chai Concentrate
Using a mortar and pestle, ground the cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
Bring 1 1/4 cups water to a boil, then add the ground spices, pumpkin pie spice, brown sugar, and black tea.
Simmer for ~8 minutes, then strain.
Make Pumpkin Cream
Using a handheld frother or mixer, whip the heavy cream, milk, pumpkin pie spice, brown sugar, pumpkin purée, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Assemble the Drink
Pour your desired amount of chai concentrate into a glass filled with ice, and add the milk on top.
Top with the pumpkin cream and dust with more pumpkin pie spice.
