Pumpkin Cream Chai Latte
This Starbucks fall-favorite features a classic pumpkin chai topped with a generous dollop of pumpkin cream

- 1 cup milk
Chai Concentrate
- 6 cardamom pods
- 3 cloves
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp black tea
Pumpkin Cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp whole milk
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp pumpkin purée
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Make Chai Concentrate
- Using a mortar and pestle, ground the cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
- Bring 1 1/4 cups water to a boil, then add the ground spices, pumpkin pie spice, brown sugar, and black tea.
- Simmer for ~8 minutes, then strain.
Make Pumpkin Cream
- Using a handheld frother or mixer, whip the heavy cream, milk, pumpkin pie spice, brown sugar, pumpkin purée, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Assemble the Drink
- Pour your desired amount of chai concentrate into a glass filled with ice, and add the milk on top.
- Top with the pumpkin cream and dust with more pumpkin pie spice.
