Tiramisu Hot Chocolate
The most decadent hot chocolate inspired by tiramisu and topped with a mascarpone-based cream.

Tiramisu Hot Chocolate
- 30 g milk chocolate
- 10 g dark chocolate
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 or 2 shots espresso depending on your coffee preference
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
Mascarpone Cream
- 2 tbsp mascarpone cream room temperature
- 1 1/2 tsp white sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- splash of vanilla extract
Make Tiramisu Hot Chocolate
Roughly chop the dark and milk chocolate, then set aside.
Bring the milk up to a simmer over medium low heat. Do not let it boil.
Whisk in the chopped chocolate, dark cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Continue simmering for ~10 minutes.
Pour in the espresso, and before turning off the heat, whisk in the heavy cream.
